FAQ & Solutions for Headsets with USB Port
1. The headset or mic has no sound
Solution: Switch the sound card on computer or voice software
2. Current Noise
Solution: Try another socket. If you have installed the driver, try to unload it. If it can use after unloading, then you can reinstall the driver. If there is noise after installing the driver, try to use compatible driver such as USB 7.1. The sound card of new version may not work with USB 7.1 driver, please reinstall computer system or ask for replacement.
If you haven’t installed the driver, try another socket, switch the sound card. Note that close the Mic Boost.
Solution: Switch the sound card. See if there are other speaker, mic or earphone, etc. Using hub to connect may be the reason(apply to Current Noise situation). The main reason is driver installing, you can try to reset and reinstall the driver.
4. Asking for connecting 7.1 headset/headphone when installing driver
Solution: Try another socket, download the driver(new or old version).
If the headphone has sound, you may have a wrong driver version. If not, switch the sound card. If there hasn’t sound after switching, the sound card of the headphone may go wrong.
If you can’t open the driver after installing, try another socket. Don’t use USB3.0(Inside Blue generally) or hub as far as possible.
